Welcome!

Wow, I haven't used HTML and CSS in forever! Working on this has been really fun so far and I've refreshed a lot of memory.

I'm GnomesAreGneat. I play video games, TTRPGS, animate, do some 3D printing, made a few videos, and I love anything related to tech. I've been planning my home network so I'll be starting on that soon and I feel like I dive deeper into security/privacy more every few months.

I deeply appriciate my hobbies and I've wanted to have a place to record what I do for a while. I wanna start streaming and making more videos soon but I needed a place that's really my own. I've had ideas for a while about this site and, at first, I thought I was dreaming too big but now I think I can make something cool.

I'll be drawing rooms and building the "hut" as I go. Every room will have a different theme so I can separate some of my interests like I do in real life. My mind is all over the place with hobbies but I've noticed as I get older, I keep going back to certain ones and they deserve more attention than I've been giving them.

I'm still learning a lot because I am not a programmer but I love this place so far. I was on the internet back when Geocities was around, I had a MySpace page, and I miss the creativity before the big social media platforms popped up. The idea of an internet revival sounds amazing to me and I like being around people who are breaking away from the monotony.

I'll have to make time around my job to work on this but I think it'll help me with the burnout I've been feeling. When I have another project I'm passionate about, it seems to ease the throbbing headaches and anger that comes with all of that.

I plan on sharing what I'm working on as I go along but I also want some things to be a surprise. My next goal is to start drawing the real Notecard room. It'll probably include a lot of what is in here, so it's a good place to start.
